2/22/22 Live Chat Q&A

A friend is suffering from tailbone pain. Some days are worse than other days and it's been going on for several years. He can’t sit for too long. Wondering if you have remedy recommendations for this? 2nd question: A friend has type 1 diabetes. I heard a young mans testimony with type 1 diabetes you were able to help him. What was your protocol for him and wondering if that would help my friend also?  By the way, following your last advice on my blood pressure has been wonderful! Thank you! As always you’re the best doctor we know!

Greetings Dr. Glidden. V from Vietnam. Very excited about your new website being rolled out next month.
1. What's your stance on urine therapy? Is it just BS being spread to throw more people off during this andemic? 2. I occasionally have skin peeling off the palms of my hands and around the soles of my feet. No cracking. No dryness. Seems like a seasonal thing. What's the cause and the remedy for it? 3. Why do people snore at night? Does turning them to their side help? 4. What do you think about Taoism's discipline of seminal fluid retention to preserve the male vital force?

A friend has been diagnosed with cellulitis in a leg. He’s had four lots of antibiotics, (intravenous, injections, and 2x oral) over the past two months but it keeps recurring. Its appearance coincided with a swim in a lake that he later discovered had an algae outbreak, which also caused gastro for the entire family. Doctors say the cellulitis is bacterial but they haven’t identified the specific bacteria. It has spread from lower leg to the knee and lower thigh. Physical exertion or sitting for long periods exacerbates it. His leg is red, swollen, tender to touch and generally painful. Any suggestions?

A few weeks ago I woke up with left knee pain. It is only sore when I go down on my knees or put pressure on it and it does not affect me with walking or running. I don't notice a specific sore spot when I press on it. I don't remember doing anything that could cause an injury either. Do you know what this could be and do you have any suggestions to make the pain go away? Why do scars occur and are there ways to prevent them from forming?

Hi Doc. This is a bit of lengthy. My 5 year old son has had some digestive issues for nearly 2 months now. We dont know what it is, but I can list the symptoms for your. He constantly wants to burp, especially before and after pooping. Sometimes, he feel nauseated, sometimes randomly and sometimes after pooping. These symptoms sometimes get worse and sometimes it goes away. Food doesn’t seem to be directly related to it. Eliminating dairy did not help. He still has good appetite and eats well. However, he often feels like he needs to force out burp. (Often 30-90 minutes after eating). He also poops well yet feels like gas is filling up and thus needs to burp after pooping. Sometimes the sensation starts before pooping. The sensation disappears within 5minutes to 20 minutes usually. Sometimes it lasts longer.
We did a stool test. The results were fine. We did a blood test. It says that he has a slight milk and egg allergy. It also says that he has low carbon dioxide levels. Could this be some sort of motility issue? Peristalsis? It has been going on since 12/31/2021. Could it be that there has been an acute infection that led to this persisting non specific condition? He takes the 90 EN. Extra calcium. Stays away from the 12 bad foods.

Good night. What is a colposcopy? What is the treatment for the human papilloma virus? Does it cause cancer? Thanks in advance.

My sisters observes they my mom’s mind is clear except regarding urination. She asks where she should pee. Puts on double diaper, sometimes urinates on the pad and takes the diaper off. Or takes clothes off because she doesn’t want them to get wet. Any suggestions on remedies?

My father-in-law:
His face was tingling the other day and ears ringing constantly on both ears. He is waiting for an email that you mentioned.
Do you have any idea when will the rest of my family’s Carole test result will be in?
Thanks Doc. Shalom.

Oh and my husband is reminding you for an email you mention that you will send him.

Hi Doc! Ken B. here. My wife and I have experienced the benefits of bone broth in our gut health, but I no longer have the time to make it like I used to. As a substitute I've been adding Dr. Axe's collagen powder to our daily “Tangy” cocktail. But I'm wondering if Glucogel may be a better alternative. Your thoughts?

I’ve also used various other collagen powders.

Good evening Doc; Praying you all are well up there in the chilly north. I've done much reading which talks of the body regenerating (or replacing) itself completely every ~7 years. Do you suppose that it would be possible to restore the islets of Langerhans in the pancreas to allowing the body normal sugar metabolism in a "type I diabetic"? If so, what modalities would you guess should be employed to accomplish this?
Thank you... - Paul –
