Hi Dr. G. Noticed in a couple of your online illness treatments you recommend taking supplements with fresh squeezed orange juice. Just curious if there is something about commercial orange juice I'm missing. My son's ears often get quite red. At first I thought it was due to wearing headphones but that isn't the case. Other than possible blood pressure related issues which I need to follow up on... any ideas? Thanks!

Greetings Doc; There was an interview I heard recently with a Naturopathic Nutritionist, and they mentioned that the amino acid L-Lysine is effective at mitigating symptoms generated by the SARS-COV-2 virus (COVID), even the (apparently) more virulent strain found in California recently. He also recommended using it as an effective preventive for all viruses. He also mentioned for those infected with such, to refrain from nuts & chocolate while in recovery because of the abundance of another amino acid, L-Arginine, which the viruses use in their replication process. My daughter (10 yrs old) has had a sore throat for a couple of days. She had a fever on Sunday and it broke Monday morning, and she has not had one since. I have given her Argentyn 23, Super Olive Health, and Killer Biotic. Her throat is still sore, and I would like to know if there is something else I could do for her? I haven't taken her to the doctor yet, but I am hoping it's not Strep.

Hi Doc, Randy’s been fighting what he thought was a head cold for about 4 weeks now, he has a dry cough with what’s best described as a discharge free congestion. He’s not coughing anything up, just feels the need to clear his throat and has a dry harsh cough. He’s downing the colloidal silver, (homemade so maybe not strong enough) as well as using it in a nebulizer. He’s tried Vitamin C, lemon and honey, Marshmallow Fenugreek, Elderberry cough syrup and even tried a few over the counter cold medicines to kick it. The stuffiness he had in his head is gone but the coughing just wants to hang on. Any other things we could try. Thank you.

Maybe I'm mistaken but I've heard that taking statins may interfere with vitamin D production/absorption. Any further insights?  Also have you heard anything about codex alimentarius?
