If protein is essential for the body to have every day and it does not make it, should protein be the 91st essential nutrient? Is it ok to only drink water when I'm thirsty?

Hi Doc. Jhonlie’s here from Fayetteville. Were you able to take a look at my email and any suggestions regarding my questions? Strange thing happened at 3 am today. For the first time I had a sudden runny bloody nose. It was on my left nostril. After a while, I had to clear my nose, it seemed clogged deep in my nasal cavity. It was still bloody and eventually it cleared up. Followed by that was just constant spitting throughout the day from what it seemed was post nasal drip. No more bloody spit but just mucus. I’ll keep see what happens tonight and tomorrow again. What can you suggest me do besides the 90?

Hi Dr. G. Six years ago and then again two weeks ago I got a blood test/urinalysis/etc. and everything ok but (here's the BUT) potassium levels are high. This time around it was 6.0. I eat a ton of oranges/bananas/mangos daily and thought it was this but current doctor who gave test says this is urgent and not from my high potassium diet. I feel great and am wondering if high phosphorus foods are affecting calcium which is then affecting potassium? I listened to your lectures. This time around albunum (5.0) and creatine 1.06. Everything else fine. Thx. Tingle Top

Hi Doc; While "practically" speaking, protein could be the "91st", don't the 12 amino acids (within the 90 essentials) provide the building blocks for such required protein? Caveat: quantities must be sufficient. Thanks... - Paul - BTW, I just started a fabulous book by Morley Robbins (RCP) entitled: "Cu RE your fatigue", which discusses the value of copper (along with its relationship to magnesium and iron). Very enlightening!

How is it going, Dr. Glidden? 1. Is red light therapy such a big deal like the way people are touting it?
2. Is getting a stuffy nose for a few minutes right after waking up a common thing? 3. Why do some people resort to mouth taping when they sleep in order to force themselves to breathe through the nose only? Does this sound like a good idea to you? 4. Some vaccinated people complain about the loss of taste and smell after a covid bout. I wonder if this is one of the latent side effects of the vaccine? 5. I got tonsil stones quite often and I spit them out when I can. Are tonsil stones something to worry about? What's the cause? Last question. What's your prediction on the general public health when they roll out the 4th and 5th boosters and your thought on the campaign to vaccinate small children?

Mike from Sarasota here. Dr. G, last week you recommended i stop my excess zinc intake because of the cataract in my right eye. I'm getting the eye drops that you recommended. I also have had ringing in my ears for years as well as battling vertigo at times. Could a circulatory problem that has affected the distance vision in my right eye also correspond with the above mentioned issues? You mentioned that with Dr. Janda when you were discussing increased eye issues. Thanks for your help.
Also, I have a lady who's experiencing dry. She's not any prescription meds. Is there any help for her. Thank Dr. G. Hope the weather cooperating with you all. Dry mouth. sorry I missed it

Hello, Sonya from Cincinnati (sorry if you are seeing this twice). I wrote to the show in May and weaned myself off thyroid medicine (May-August) after taking it for 13 years. I wanted to re-connect and let everyone know it did not work out so well. I advise not doing this. I have resigned myself to the fact that I will be on thyroid medicine for the rest of my life (dependent on big pharma ). I had to see a new endocrinologist and I told him I wanted to stay on Armour Thyroid medicine because it is more natural than the synthetic medicine created in a lab. He argued with me and said it is not natural to take something out of an animal and put it in a human. Anyway, long story short, he suggested a find another doctor because he does not want to see me anymore. He did give in and gave me one month prescription on the Armour Thyroid.
PS He asked who my primary care physician is and I said “I don’t have one, I don’t visit MD’s because I’m healthy and live a healthy lifestyle and take 90 essential nutrients…..he laughed.

Thanks . On a different note, I never had high blood pressure issues and acid re-flux until I had my gall bladder yanked out. Could there be any correlation?
